Full spectrum lamp

Full spectrum lamps or special plant lights are artificial lights simulating sunlight, designed specifically for plant growth, which help to strengthen photosynthesis with the help of suitable electromagnetic spectrums for plants. Plant growth lights as sunlight simulator lamps produce different light spectrums that provide the light needed by the plant through the variety of output lumens. LED lamps provide output light according to the stage of cultivation, growth, flowering, etc. for plants. If all the conditions are met, LEDs increase plant growth and reduce the plant growth period by 50% compared to traditional agriculture and fulfill many of the demands of farmers that were not possible in traditional agriculture.

A light that ranges from infrared to near-ultraviolet, or in other words, includes all wavelengths that are useful for plants or animal life, is called full-spectrum light. Sunlight has a full spectrum of lights and any light that is similar to sunlight and has the efficiency of sunlight and includes all its spectrums is called full spectrum light.

Sunlight simulator lamp

Nowadays, lamps are made by human hands that cover all light spectrums and meet all the needs of plants for light and act like the sun for plants. The light emitted from these lamps is completely safe and due to the very low heat generation compared to other lamps, it can be placed closest to the plant.

What is full spectrum?

Full spectrum is not a technical term used for lighting like light bulb. Lamps that have a full spectrum of light are actually imitated in a way of natural sunlight in their construction and are not a normal lamp. The full spectrum lamps that are sold in the market may have visible or invisible spectra and sometimes they do not differ from the normal lamps in the market in terms of appearance, but their structure is different and they cover all the spectrums of sunlight that are suitable for plants. It is necessary to publish. Note that these full-spectrum lamps do not contain ultraviolet rays, and the sample lamp is a sunlight simulator.

Introducing full spectrum LED plant growth lamp

Full spectrum LED lamps have all the spectrum of light needed by plants, which in addition to improving the growth of plants, all the disadvantages that red and blue LEDs had for plants and causing the lack of proper growth of the plant or the lack of appearance of the plant It could have been fixed. Full spectrum lamps are designed in such a way that not only do not cause the slightest damage to the plant, but they are useful and usable for all plants. The wavelength of spectrum lamps is designed according to the needs of plants and is very low consumption and is a suitable option for industrial use, large and small greenhouses with different flowers and even home use. These sunlight simulating lamps have been designed and made to have an important advantage over other lamps. These lamps use the output light completely, and for more effectiveness, remove the cover on the lamp or use lamps with lenses. Because with the cover on the photosynthesis lamps, between 30 and 40% of the useful light that should reach the plants is absorbed by the cover, which increases the light efficiency by removing the cover.

Are full spectrum lights dangerous for plants?

The light spectrum effective in photosynthesis is between 380 and 760 nm, and the influence of red and blue light is more than other spectrums. The shorter the wavelength, the more dangerous it is for plants, and the longer the wavelength, the more beneficial it is for the plant. For example, if only blue light shines on a plant, the growth of the plant will decrease and all its organs will become hard and dark because blue color acts like ultraviolet rays. Ultraviolet rays have a wavelength of 300 to 400 nm, which is completely invisible and cannot be seen by the human eye, and causes great damage to the plant. On the other hand, red light is very useful for plants, and if a plant is placed in front of red light, its growth increases and its organs become soft and its leaves tender. Red light is the infrared ray that has a wavelength of 700 to 750 nm and is in the effective range in photosynthesis. This ray, like the ultraviolet ray, is invisible to the human eye, but it is the most useful light for plants.

Full-spectrum plant growth lamps are exactly simulated from sunlight and not only do not have any harmful light for the plant, but also provide all the wavelengths needed by the plant, so they are also called sunlight simulating lamps. .

Color spectra of plant growth lamps or full spectrum

Lamps that are specially made for plant growth as sunlight simulating lamps have a full range of colors that provide exactly the function of sunlight for plants. Full spectrum plant growth lamps have a wide range of blue, red, white and ultraviolet colors that provide the natural growth cycle of plants.

Are full spectrum LED lamps suitable for plants?

LEDs and fluorescent lamps both emit full-spectrum light. But compared to these two, full spectrum LED lamps and lights are recommended for plants and they are excellent for the growth, flowering and fruiting of plants. And all of them are introduced as sunlight simulating lamps.

Advantages of full spectrum plant growth lamps

. Very little power consumption
. Low and harmless heat for the plant
. Long life compared to normal lamps (approximately 15,000 hours)
. Can be used in all places
. The ability to be located at the closest distance to the plant
. Easy installation
. Ability to time

Where can full spectrum lamps be used?

Full spectrum lamps as sunlight simulating lamps due to the complete light spectrum and low consumption are suitable for use in greenhouses, dimly lit apartments, parking lots, staircases, hotel lobbies, restaurants with dimly lit spaces. And they are romantic and…
